Fascia Release Self Massage series

Fascia Release targets the connective tissues (myofascia) that permiate the whole body. By gently self massaging the tissues to hydrate them freeing up the stubborn tight or stuck areas that commonly hold tension in the body.

We will utilise Fascia Release balls, blocks and other props to knead, roll and sit on trigger points to stimulate fluids moving through these tissues so they slide and glide more smoothly creating freedom in your range of movement as well as reduce the risk of injuries and assist recovery. 

This practice is beneficial for EVERYBODY! Whether you move lots and do demanding sports or you sit for long hours. Whether you are working with injury or are wound up- utilising these tools in your practices off the mat will create space, and bring more ease to your movements. About your teacher: Vicky has been teaching Fascia Release for over 10 years with different tools and tricks, Trained by Tiffany Cruikshank and Allen Menzes in fascia release techniques and has been a pioneer in bringing these practices to movement studios across Sydney and training teachers in this modality- with a wealth of knowledge and experience she will guide you through the practices safely.
